BRASS prepared a Feasibility Study that ensured the technical and operational viability of the system to continue the pre-feasibility engineering work carried out in 2021, identifying the works necessary to rehabilitate the tailings transport system and allow the transport of minerals, a mixture of gypsum, sands and repulped sludge. 

The project is part of an initiative to remove tailings from one of the mining company's tailings dams. This initiative included repulping, pumping, thickening, and transporting the removed material. The transport systems involved, using 24-inch pipelines, were designed to carry some of the material to another dam and some of the pulp to the flotation area.
