Their extensive experience provides a global perspective and field-proven solutions, fostering agile decision-making and collaborative work. Furthermore, BRASS is distinguished by the excellence of its hydraulic models and innovative proprietary software development, which together guarantee highly accurate and efficient results. All of this is complemented by an exceptional work environment, with a friendly and committed team that promotes continuous learning and customer satisfaction. This combination of international experience, technical expertise, and organizational culture is what truly differentiates BRASS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Which BRASS technologies or methodologies would you highlight as the most effective on the market for ensuring good tailings management and reducing risks to pipeline integrity?<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure optimal handling of the various fluids in the mining sector and minimize risks to pipeline integrity, at BRASS we would highlight our transient simulator, custom-developed for each project. This simulator allows for dynamic simulations of behavior under adverse scenarios, surpassing the capabilities of commercial software. We complement this tool with the B-VOYAGER\u00ae device for internal pipeline inspection, the B-PIMS\u00ae system for comprehensive pipeline integrity management, and the B-LDS\u00ae software for early leak detection. This suite of technologies enables not only evaluation during the design phase but also continuous monitoring of existing pipelines, guaranteeing greater operational safety and extending the lifespan of assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are there any particular experiences where synergy between offices has been key to solving a complex technical problem?<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I believe that in all the projects I've participated in, the synergy between BRASS LATAM offices is fundamental to resolving the various technical problems that arise. This is primarily due to the support of our international consultants and the extensive experience of the hydraulic teams across the different offices. I would highlight one experience in the development of a project for Compa\u00f1\u00eda Minera Do\u00f1a In\u00e9s de Collahuasi. In the Peruvian office, I was developing the transient analysis while the team in Chile worked on the system flushing analysis. They required the activation set point for the rupture discs from my simulation, and thanks to direct and fluid communication, we shared data in real time and coordinated both studies in parallel. With this information, Chile adjusted its hydraulic parameters to guarantee the safe operation of the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What motivates you most about working in the hydraulic discipline at BRASS, and what impact do you think your work has on the mining industry?<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What motivates me most is the constant learning in the hydraulic discipline of BRASS, where I have discovered applications of my training in the mining sector that I never imagined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I appreciate the generosity of my colleagues in sharing their knowledge and the open dialogue where all ideas are valued equally. This collaborative culture fosters my professional development and enhances the quality of our solutions.<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the impact of my work, I believe that by optimizing designs and managing critical fluids, we achieve safer and more reliable operations, which promotes the responsible use of resources and minimizes environmental impact.
